This solution provides only the PCL.6 driver without an installer. To install the print driver use the Add Printer Wizard. Supports 32 bit operating systems only.

• The following are compatible system requirements for Windows:

  1. Close all programs.
  2. Click Start, select Settings, select Control Panel, and then select Printers.
  3. Click Add (a) printer.
  4. Answer the questions in the Add Printer Wizard until the screen that shows the printer manufacturerlist displays.
  5. Click Have Disk.
  6. Browse to the print driver location using one of the following options:
  • CD: Browse to the root of the printer CD.
  • Internet download: Browse to the folder where the Web files were downloaded anddecompressed.
  7. Select the appropriate INF file.
  • HP PCL.6 V3 driver:

    • Only 32-bit operating system supported, use the hp*c.inf file.
  8. Click Open, and then click OK.
  9. Select the appropriate printer.
  10. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete the printer installation.
