Installation Instructions:

  1. Download the file, USBUpdate_Windows2000.exe to a local drive. Make note where (in which folder) the file gets copied.
  2. Temporarily disable any antivirus software.
  3. Exit any running applications, games, utilities, and multimedia applications.
  4. In Windows Explorer (or by some equivalent means) go to the folder where USBUpdate_Windows2000.exe was copied; run the program.
  5. Double-click on the USBUpdate_Windows2000.exe patch file to start it.
  6. Follow the instruction dialogs that appear to install the update.
  7. A restart is necessary after the patch is installed.
