USB and PARALLEL (IEEE 1284) CONNECTION.

Please note that the instructions below are for users that will be using a USB orParallel cable connection from the computer to the printer.
Please refer to the CD that came with your hp cp1160 printer for documentation,registration, and additional software.
If you have already attempted to install the driver, you must disconnect the interfacecable from the back of the computer. You must also run the Uninstaller from the printerdriver CD included with your printer before you attempt to install this downloaded file.You must also reboot your computer after uninstalling the old driver.

To Install:
1. Before you download the driver from the web, create the directory on your hard drive:c:cp1160.
2. Download the exe file to c:cp1160.
3. Double-click on the .exe you downloaded. It will expand showing a directory namedExtract
4. hp cp1160 setup wizard screen will show up.
5. Click Next button twice.
6. hp software license agreement screen will show up. Click Yes.
7. If printer is connected to parallel, USB or IR, Select Connected to thiscomputer. Then click Next.
8. Select Port (Parallel, USB or other) then click Next
9. Files will be copied.
10. In the completing windows, click Finish.

To Uninstall: Run the HP uninstaller, uninstal.exe, from the c:cp1160extract folder.

2. Download the driver to the newly created c:cp1160 folder.
3. Open the c:cp1160 folder and double-click the exe file you justdownloaded. This will extract the files to a directory named extract andlaunch t
