File Description	HDD_UTIL.EXE is a self-extracting zip file with a hard disk drive utility. The utility can address a certain kind of hard disk drive corruption that may occur when running Windows 98 and the Agate Tioman Hotswap software. USE THIS UTILITY ONLY IF YOU EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR HARD DISK DRIVE (for example Windows 98 hangs on bootup) even after restoring the system with the HP OmniBook Recovery CD, or if the recovery fails. In these cases, this utility may make the hard disk drive useable again. Note that USING THIS UTILITY WILL ERASE DATA ON THE HARD DISK DRIVE and will require you to reinstall Windows from the HP OmniBook Recovery CD. Download this file and execute it. Read the README.TXT file for more information. This utility is for the HP OmniBook 900, 2100, 3100, 4100, 4150, 7100, and 7150.
