HOW TO USE:
- Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
- Insert a blank 1.44MB floppy diskette in drive A:. This diskette will be erased by the SoftPaq. Before proceeding, make certain the diskette is not write protected, does not contain viruses, and does not contain data or critical files.
- From the drive and directory into which the Sofpaq was downloaded, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- After the diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
- To install the video BIOS update, insert the floppy diskette into the A: drive of the workstation to be updated and restart the computer. The computer will boot from the diskette.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once the video BIOS update is complete, remove the diskette and cycle power to the workstation.
- Resolves a black screen or flashing screen when attached to a digital flat panel that supports resolutions greater than 1280x1024 pixels
