HOW TO USE:
- Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
- Establish an Activesync connection between your iPAQ Pocket PC and host PC through either the USB or Serial connection.
- Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the iPAQ Pocket PC h5500 series Firmware Update.
- Important: Please ensure you have completed the following tasks:
- Do not enable the device password feature during the update process.
- Do not attempt to turn off or restart the device while the update is in progress.
- Do not enable “Show information when device is turned on” feature during the update process. To disable, simply click “Owner” on the today screen and uncheck the box at the bottom of the page, then click the “Notes” tab at the bottom of the page and uncheck “Show information
- Fingerprint Software Version 3.7:
- Fixes issue where it allowed to select alphanumeric characters using the softkey with the “simple 4 digit PIN” option for Password.
