The Intel Rapid Storage Technology Software must be installed to manage RAID, disk caching and email notifications after the operating system setup is complete. - The disk cache must be unaccelerated prior to updating the driver on an existing configuration with disk caching enabled. - Smart Response Technology (Disk Caching) and Raid mode are only supported on HP Elite 800 platforms. RAID mode enabled in the BIOS in order to enable disk caching. - When migrating from a non-RAID environment with existing operating system image, 5 MB of unallocated space is required at the end of the drive before a RAID volume can be set up using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Software.
