The HPLaserJet 2100 IrDA patch fixes a problem with the infared printing to the HPLaserJet 2100 Series or HPLaserJet 8100 Series Printers. This patch requires the Apple LaserWriter 8 version 8.6.5 driver and DesktopPrinting Utility 1.2 (both releases as part of Mac OS 8.6). This patch addresses Infrared printing problems with the HPLaserJet 2100Series and the HPLaserJet 8100 Series printers. The 'HPLaserJet 2100Infrared' plug-in provides uni-directional communication support for the HPLaserJet 2100 and HPLaserJet 8100 Series Printers. Uni-directionalcommunication does not allow for printer auto configuration and statusinformation. See the Uni-IrDA 2100 patch2.pdf file for complete installation and usageinstructions. Note: This patch is designed for use only with the HPLaserJet 2100 and 8100series printers. Use of the patch with other printers is not recommended, andmay result in performace degradation.
