This utility removes only version 9.0.0 of the driver.Running the removal utility may remove the drivers and software for other HP printing, scanning or digital imaging products. This utility (uninstall.bat) works in stages. The first time the utility is used, it runs at level one. The next time the utility is used, it runs at level two. There are four levels. The effects of each level are shown in the table below.

Uninstaller level Description
Level 1: Removes the Windows device discovery (Plug and Play) entries from the Windows registry. After running level 1, connect the USB cable to the device and let Windows try to discover the device again.
Level 2: (Performs Level 1) Removes the software drivers. After running level 2, run the device software installer and use the "Add a new device" option to attempt to reinstall the device again.
Level 3: (Performs Levels 1 and 2) Removes the HP Photo and Imaging software. You must completely reinstall the device software after running level 3.
