The HP xw9300 workstation does NOT support PATA hard disk drives in any RAID or non-RAID configuration. If PATA RAID is currently being used on the HP xw9300 Workstation, do NOT upgrade to system BIOS 2.00 (or later) because of potentially serious side effects.
