To add XML support to the Internet Explorer 4.01 browser in your Jornada 720, you will need to do the following: 1. Download the MSXMLENG.CAB to a designated directory in your desktop PC. Keep a copy of this file in your desktop PC for future reference. 2. Connect the Jornada to the desktop PC using ActiveSync. 3. Copy the CAB file MSXMLENG.CAB to the storage card or My Handheld PC folder in the Jornada. Then double click on the CAB file to perform the installation. 4. Disconnect the device from the desktop PC. Note: 1. The CAB file will be removed automatically after installation. 2. You will need to re-install it again if a hard reset is performed on the device. |
